Artist Statement
An art installation exploring the process of generative forms created in response to the surrounding revitalization of socioeconomic growth. Each permutation is born from systemic expansion via the graft…. countless layers or tissue comprised of plastic barrier fencing overlap slide and undulate. This process of grafiting becomes a metaphor for connectivity between the Atlanta BeltLine and the adjacent neighborhoods.
Artist Bio
Bud Shenefelt is a designer with Cooper Carry and a designer and partner at dsnwrk. He graduated from the Louisiana State University College of Art and Design with a Master’s of Architecture. Chris Jones works as a project manager at Summerour and Associates and is also a designer and partner at dsnwrk. He graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation in NY with a Master’s of Architecture.
