The ColorATL BeltLine Project will be an interactive, community-engagement piece – a large-scale coloring page/wall. This piece will be all about bringing people together creatively. The basic framework and layout will be produced by our group of artists, then opened up to the public to freely color in the overall structure and design with sidewalk chalk over the course of the 3-month exhibition.
ColorATL is a large group of local artists passionate about building community and sharing the positive experience of interactive art. Mostly known for our Atlanta-based coloring book for adults, ColorATL consist of 44 Atlantan artists, many of which have exhibited on the BeltLine in past years. Through our coloring book, as well as weekly community events, our group is dedicated to increasing the accessibility of art to all, bridging people together to participate in the generative joy of creation.
