Elephant and Whale reflects the spirit of the Atlanta BeltLine and Atlanta: rebuilding and reinventing. And moving… The artists chose the whale and the elephant for their simple forms and also for their constant movement as animals. The artists imagine people on the beltline moving with these creatures as they also imagine the surrounding vegetation creeping into the creatures.
