You Won’t Step on Me! is a mural designed to inspire a feeling of self-power. There are huge corporations, governing bodies, bosses, bullies and an assortment of pressures coming at you every day and very few people stop and say they’ve had enough. When the foot in the mural comes down, it will step on the nail and trip because of the attached rope. Santiago Menendez-Gil has the hope that because of this mural, somebody might stand up for something they believe in and make a change.

Santiago Menendez Gil was born in Mexico City, Mexico and lives and works in Atlanta.
