A lenticular mural that creates the illusion of transformation as it is viewed from different angles.

Julio Ceballos is an emerging Atlanta artist whose work draws inspiration from science, technology and the environment to dissect trends and behaviors in contemporary culture. His current work focuses on consumer culture and the effects technology has on how we interact with our environment and each other. He is currently resident artist at the Mammal Gallery and a graduate of Georgia State University. While primarily having studied and practiced painting and other two-dimensional media his work varies in medium ranging from large-scale murals, digital art, installation art and sculpture. Julio’s philosophy is that art, as a form of communication, should always attempt to involve and address the public directly and that this cannot be done solely from the confines of gallery walls.
