Artist Statement

Sometimes the world around us creates a whole new perspective on something that’s seemed familiar our whole lives. POV is a photo series that examines The Beltline’s everyday views from a unique perspective. Captured in materials which pay homage to the raw industrial elegance of the beltline itself, each piece will be printed on corrugated aluminum, sealed with automotive clear coat, and framed by reclaimed wood and expanded metal that invites the viewer to look through the art itself to discover the world from their own point of view. As you explore the beltline for yourself, you’ll discover a series of POV installments at the actual location where each breathtaking moment was originally captured.
