Past Prime Players provides theatrical entertainment to audiences of all backgrounds through the storytelling of African Folktales using staged comedy, drama, improvisation, and music. African Folktales have been passed down through many generations. Originally, these stories were told to teach life lessons in a fun, entertaining way. Past Prime Players, brings that same laughter, enjoyment and community involvement to their performances. Their versatile repertoire including comedy, mystery, drama, musicals, and storytelling leaves the audiences asking for more.

Past Prime Players, Inc. is a Senior performing arts organization comprised of seniors 50 plus years. PPP, Inc. has been capturing the attention of audiences of all age, bringing plays to stage that everyone can enjoy. Formed in 2010, PPP embraces the complexity of bringing lost plays of the Harlem Renaissance back to life through vignettes mastered and viewed for the first time by many at the Porter Sanford III Performing Arts Center in Decatur, Georgia. 2012 also afforded PPP the opportunities to perform at the Harrahs in New Orleans, The 14th Street Playhouse in Atlanta, and at the 2012 Art on the Atlanta BeltLine exhibition.
