Jason K. Price, founder and CEO

Jason Price’s experiences in and exposure to Southern marching bands in high school and college influencedhis approach to drumline technique, performance and choreography. Price attended Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida, where he studied music and theater, and was a member of the University’s Marching ‘100’ band. As an entertainer, Price has performed with the UniverSoul Circus, Drumline Live!, the NBA’s Atlanta Hawks drumline, the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons drumline and most recently, Mickey’s SOUNDSATIONAL Parade at Disneyland Resorts. Price gained attention in the film industry when he served as the Percussion and Body Double for actor Nick Cannon in the 2002, 20th Century Fox film, Drumline. His love for performing arts is undeniable, having tried his hand at theater arts, music production and acting, and excelling at them all. His experiences shape the world of P.O.P Unplugged and are the foundation of the percussive entertainment community he is creating.
