Mike Wsol is a sculptor and multi-media artist that creates artworks from considering how personal, professional, environmental and public policy decisions effect the direction of people’s lives. His current sculptural works develop from negations between culture, ethics, power and responsibility. “I aim to build artworks that present several sides of a given subject not just a final result. The complexity of a situation should be recognized and used as a touchstone to guide a balanced ethical worldview.” He earned a Masters in Architecture from the University of Virginia, a Masters of Fine Art from the University of Georgia, and a Master of Art from Eastern Illinois University. Wsol has exhibited in solo and group exhibitions in Chicago, New York, Miami, and Atlanta in addition to many other cities around the United States.
