Artist Statement
This bike rack was built to encourage individuals to ride their bicycles on the Atlanta BeltLine. The artist is both a musician and a native Georgian. As such, he was inspired to design the bike rack to be musical, so that when its tubular bells are struck in sequence the melody “Georgia, Georgia, the whole day through….” is played.
