Artist Statement

Facing Your Fear is a continuous narrative full of vivid colors. The mural represents the act of facing your fears.

 

Artist Bio

Joshua Sheridan is an Atlanta-based painter and illustrator working primarily in watercolor and ink. His work has been shown in several Atlanta galleries, including the Granite Room, Kibbee Gallery, Jennifer Schwartz Gallery, and Agnes Scott’s Dalton Gallery. He is currently working towards completing a series of work for his first solo show. Callie Durham graduated from Georgia State University with a BFA in drawing and painting. She works in water-based media on plastic surfaces, such as mylar and duralar. Her work uses animals as human surrogates to explore life’s difficult experiences. Currently working as an assistant to Jiha Moon, Callie looks forward to displaying her work at MOCA GA as part of the Working Artist assistant program.
