Zoetic Dance Ensemble was established to give voice to the extraordinary potential of the human body and spirit. Coming from the Greek ‘zoe,’ Zoetic means living, vital and animated which accurately describes our approach to movement. Zoetic is an all-female performance company creating works and programs in a collaborative environment that fosters opportunities for risk, innovation and learning. We believe dance is essential to the human experience. Our work focuses on the personal, incorporating the ideas, stories and experiences of the people present in the space during the creative process and the performance. The work engages artists and audiences in a collaborative relationship for a moment in time with a lasting impact.
