Edeliegba is H.J.C. Bowden Senior Multipurpose Facility’s Senior Dance Ensemble. The name is from a northern Nigerian dialect and means “the elders have gathered with completion”.  The ensemble began as an African aerobics class. Theresa Howard became our group instructor and enticed the group to form a senior performance ensemble. The rest is history. The Edeliegba dancers perform African, Praise, Gospel, East Indian, Hip Hop and Tap dance for audiences around the Metro Atlanta area.
