Artist Bio

Saira Raza is a multi-instrumental musician in Atlanta GA. Her compositions infuse various influences from vintage Bollywood movies, spiritual jazz, and folk music. For her live sets, she uses a combination of electronic tools and the cello to perform her original music and improvisational compositions. Whether visual or musical, Saira’s art explores her experience growing up in between two cultures and two religions and the ability to find one’s own voice in the midst of conflicting and confusing messages. Saira has been performing in Atlanta as a backup musician and solo artist since 2013. Her EP First Flight was selected as one of Atlanta’s top 10 albums of 2014 by Creative Loafing.
