Artist Statement
Young has taught and performed African dance for 43 years and is back this year to provide participants and audiences of all backgrounds and ages an opportunity to actively experience an African cultural art activity consisting of dancing, singing and drumming.

Artist Bio
Toni Young has taught and performed African dance for 41 years for many public, private, civic, social and educational organizations throughout Georgia, Ohio, Alabama, and Mississippi, Indiana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, and Tennessee. In addition to teaching dance classes and workshops, Ms. Young has also provided, lecture demonstrations, costume and accessory making workshops, full length group productions, and scenes/choreography for movies and videos.
